YOU WILL NEED TO COMPLETE CBT IF:
– You want to ride a moped (a moped has an engine not over 50 cc with maximum design speed not exceeding 50 kilometres per hour (km/h) which is approximately 31 miles per hour)
– You want to ride a motorcycle/scooter up to 125cc
Note: If you obtained your car licence before 1 February 2001 you do not need to complete a CBT to ride a 50cc moped*.
Age restrictions on CBT:
• Age 16 You can ride a 50cc moped (geared or automatic)
• Age 17+ You can ride a 125cc learner bike (geared or automatic)
*PLEASE NOTE: We reserve the right to reschedule a CBT course if there are less than two people booked on to it.

Whats included in your CBT fee:
Helmet, jacket and a geared or automatic bike are included in the price of your CBT. Tracksuit bottoms/gym trousers and trainers of any kind are not permitted on any of our courses. No sports footwear of any kind are acceptable. You must also bring your own armoured road motorcycle gloves ONLY. Only strong boots, jeans and motorcycle clothing are permitted. If you are unsuitably dressed, you will be sent home and your money will not be refunded.
